The cottage is very pretty and cosy. The stairs are very steep and need to be taken carefully. The garden is a true cottage garden and well kept. The welcome basket was much appreciated There is off road parking for a medium sized car.

What a stunning cottage, well furnished and equipped. Cosy, comfy and warm. We felt very at home here, as we relaxed immediately. The enclosed rear garden was great for our dog, and the outside tap with hosepipe was idea for cleaning our dog down after our daily walk along the Hamford Water Nature Reserve, which was just up the Lane. We two local pubs were excellent and we ate at both. A small village shop had the basics, however Aldi and Tesco were not far away by car for a bigger shop. We will definitely return to Lavender Cottage. Thank you Alex and Lisa for the “Welcome basket”, which included a bottle of Prosecco, which was enjoyed -as it was my husband Birthday whilst we were there.
