Tucked away in the village of Little Oakley, the property is less than half a mile from a friendly pub which serves food, and just a mile from a secluded, sandy beach where you’ll spot all kinds of wildlife. The historic naval town of Harwich is just 2 miles away, its charming streets lined with independent shops and vibrant places to eat. It’s also a departure point for seal-watching boat trips. Frinton-on-Sea (11.5 miles) is a traditional seaside resort with a sandy beach and colourful beach huts, while vibrant Colchester (19 miles) offers an array of attractions, from museums to markets, Roman ruins to excellent restaurants. The renowned Beth Chatto Gardens are just 12.5 miles away, while Clacton and its pier (13.5 miles) promise a fun family outing.

The timber-clad cottage is full of character and boasts lovely period-style features, including exposed brick walls and rugged timber beams.
