The village of Ravenglass is on the edge of the Lake District National Park, and is a coastal village, once a regular smuggling base. From Ravenglass it is easy to enjoy the National Park, the Ravenglass to Eskdale Railway, Muncaster Castle and the beauty of the surrounding lakes and mountains.

..... the accommodation was exactly as described and photos were accurate. ...... close to the coastal path so could walk to Ravenglass for the little train and up to Muncaster castle too. I enjoyed my stay very much.

It's compact and cosy, the owners are friendly and helpful, the scenery is beautiful, the location perfect for us. We love the walks from the door and the numerous places to visit, just a short drive away.
