Everything about the apartment oozes quality and character, with ornamental fireplace and original ornamental range, smoothly blending the new with the old. From the marble work tops to the original range in the kitchen, and the quality furnishings to the curved stone mullioned window in the living room. Situated on the first floor, Bag End lay untouched and unoccupied for many years, so when the owners bought it, it took almost a year to restore it to its former glory, but with the addition of every modern day facility. The location in the centre of Keswick allows immediate access to the wealth of amenities provided in this vibrant market town, the lake and theatre are approximately half a mile away and the fells are accessible on foot from the doorstep.

Exactly what we needed, the locality in the town is brilliant. Having a parking space is a winner! The size is phenomenal for the price. Although we were only there for 2 nights, would definitely consider again for longer.
