Keswick lies at the head of Derwentwater, with attractions including the Puzzling Place, the Derwent Pencil Museum and the Theatre by the Lake. Also nearby are the Castlerigg Stone Circle, Dalemain Mansion, Aira Force Waterfall, and Mirehouse and Gardens on Bassenthwaite Lake, all within 14 miles.
