This wonderfully presented property is perfect for a couple or friends looking to explore the delights of the Lake District National Park, with plenty of attractions and activities to suit a group of all ages and tastes. After an action-packed afternoon, be welcomed in by the well-equipped, open-plan living space, where you and your loved ones can gather to enjoy a relaxing evening in, prepare delicious meals in the well-equipped kitchen, and dine as a group.

As the evening draws to a close, venture up the staircase and retire to one of the two well-presented bedrooms, consisting of a king-size and a double, both serviced by a spacious bathroom. To the rear of the property is a small seating area with bistro furniture, offering the perfect spot for a morning coffee. A fantastic selection of shops, pubs and restaurants are in the immediate vicinity enabling you to pick up any essentials or dine out at one of the many pubs, restaurants and takeaways which await you. To explore the area further, venture North and spend some time at the Lake District Wildlife Park, or if you are feeling active, hike up the mountain peaks of Skiddaw, Blencathra, Latrigg or Catbells.

Alternatively, hop onto a boat and enjoy a leisurely cruise around Derwentwater, or brush up on the local history by spending some time at the Castlerigg Stone Circle. The Old Betting Shop is a wonderful base for exploring this pretty part of the Lake District with your loved ones.

The tourist hub of the northern Lake District is the well-known town of Keswick, which has a lot to offer travellers at any time of year.     The only thing that stops me coming back is the poor parking at the rear i drove my small car as was mentioned but still found it very tight as on the right hand side my vehicle scraped on the floor
