Tommy’s Cottage is one of our most luxurious Keswick cottages and no expense was spared in renovating and furnishing this Lakeland stone fronted cottage. An interior designer assisted with the refurbishment and attention to detail was given in every area, including feature papered walls, coordinated fabrics, oak bedroom furniture and fully tiled bathrooms. There are 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, guests with mobility problems will appreciate the ground floor en-suite bedroom. The cottage is 5 minutes level walk from the town centre and has a pleasant rear courtyard, a sun trap which is perfect for dining al fresco. We spent a lovely 4 days at Tommy’s cottage. The cottage had been renovated to a high standard/quality. Kitchen was fully equipped, the freezer appears a bit lob sided due to water damage. The bathrooms cleanliness in particular were a let down to the lovely cottage, the upstairs toilet needed a good scrub with the toilet brush, with also black water marks under the flush rim. (Had appropriate cleaner been available, this would have been cleaned), also black around the taps and orangey mould in the tile grout. Venetian blinds needed a good scrub too. I would’ve hoped that any cleaners would have addressed this prior to the start of the busy season. The Roman blind pulley was broken, so didn't roll up.

Been coming to lakes and always stay at Tommys cottage for the last 10 yrs. 10yrs it was outstanding today it’s par for the course. It’s home from home and we always brings things now that are not provided.
