Loved the cottage and location, really felt like a home. Silecroft is a hidden gem, cottage is 10 minutes walk from the beach. Perfect base for long walks. Only downside is no shop and pub was closed but Haverigg and Millom only a short drive away, so don't let that out you off.

A beautiful old cottage with all the modern comforts. Made extra cosy with log burners in the kitchen and front room. Off street parking a boon in a small village with small roads. A good base to reach several popular spots in the Lake District and also north up the coast.
