Low Dog Kennel Cottage certainly has the wow factor. Just two miles from the fascinating village of Cartmel, this property has been beautifully updated. 21st century comforts and contemporary details have been introduced with great care, never distracting from the cottage’s traditional charm. Cartmel village is simply stunning and well known for its 12th century priory, sticky toffee pudding, locally made cheese and Michelin Star restaurant, L’Enclume. There is even a highly regarded racecourse nearby.

The cottage’s sitting room is wonderfully cosy. Superbly comfortable sofas, original flag floor, welcoming stove and impressive wall mounted smart TV make this somewhere to spread out, kick back and relax over a glass of something special. A dining area has been cleverly separated but shares the same relaxing ambiance; mealtimes are guaranteed to be sociable and leisurely affairs.

The kitchen is a triumph with granite worktops, hand built units and doors opening onto the patio and fabulous views over the surrounding countryside. There’s even a cosy ‘dog snug’ under the stairs, somewhere for your best friend to snooze after a long walk in the fresh air.

Upstairs are two heavenly bedrooms, both with superb views. The master bedroom comes with a super king size bed and TV, and the second room can be arranged with either a king size bed or twin beds. A stunning house bathroom has been refurbished with free standing designer bath and separate shower cubicle.

Outside there is parking for one car, as well as an enclosed courtyard patio with bistro table and chairs. On sunny evenings, this is the ideal spot in which to enjoy the million dollar views.
