Perfect for a couple, a family, or even friends sharing, this cottage offers amazing views of varying Cumbrian terrains, while providing all the home comforts you need for a memorable self-catering holiday. Inside, the well-equipped kitchen is home to all your cooking appliances along with dining seating, meaning you can catch up with your designated chef while you discuss plans for your next day out before tucking in to dinner. From here, the sitting room welcomes you in to snuggle up to watch TV with your loved ones after a busy day of exploring. Upstairs, choose from a double or a twin bedroom, offering flexibility for friends or the perfect set up for a family. Outside, the sun-trap courtyard is the ideal place to sit and enjoy your morning coffee, or you can even dine al fresco in the warmer evenings. Located in the heart of the Lake District, Coniston is a popular tourist destination with plenty of attractions to keep visitors busy. The Grizedale Forest is a great place for hikers and mountain bikers, while Go Ape Grizedale offers a more adventurous experience with its tree-top ropes course, perfect if you’re travelling with youngsters too! The National Trust - Tarn Hows is a must-see, especially in the fall when the leaves change colour, and the highlight of a visit to Coniston is undoubtedly the Coniston Old Man, a stunning mountain trail to walk in the area. On Coniston Old Man, Wetherlam, and the Grizedale Forest routes, you can stroll, mountain bike, and climb. For watersports enthusiasts, the calm lake is suitable for dinghy sailing and paddling. The less energetic can enjoy a leisure trip on the elegant steam boat 'Gondola' or explore Brantwood, the old home of John Ruskin.
