We really enjoyed our stay at Darci's Lodge last week and found it had everything that we needed for our getaway. It is situated in a really good area with access to all the lovely walks and attractions that you could want in the lake district. Being sat at the Base of Blencathra made for some beautiful views at the beginning and end of each day. As other people may have noted, yes the stairs are a little precarious, so something to definitely note if mobility is an issue for anyone, but otherwise this lodge is perfect for a short getaway.
