It has one kingsize bedroom with a high quality mattress and an en-suite shower room, and offers open plan living, dining and kitchen areas with views looking out onto Ullswater. There is also a separate utility room with a toilet. Private parking, bike storage, a small garden with shrubs and a cobbled courtyard with views of Ullswater complete the picture.
All of the Lake District’s main attractions are close by, including Keswick and Windermere, as well as amazing walks and cycle routes nearby. The property is also only 2 miles from the steamer jetty at Ullswater, where you’ll be able to enjoy an afternoon on the water. Shop and restaurant 2 miles, pub ½ mile.

Disappointing The photo of the property is deceiving because there is another building directly in front which obscures the viewThere was scaffolding on the property of which we hadn't been informed of There was lack of instruction for the appliances Overall I would never book this accommodation again and I would not recommend it

Lake view farm was excellent. Really clean and comfortable stay. There was some tea and coffee (always liked) and shops weren’t too far away. We had planned to hike around Ullswater so it was good location for us but if you wanted to have a trip where you didn’t get in your car once you arrived it wasn’t particularly close to too many amenities without popping in the car.

Very comfortable cottage with fantastic views of Ullswater Lake. We were able to walk our dog in the paddock which was great. If I had to find a negative about Lake View Farm it would be the difficulty of driving out of the property on to the main road, a mirror on the opposite side of the road would have been extremely beneficial. Otherwise, I would recommend to friends and family for a great place to stay.
