We had the most amazing stay at Millbarn. Our hosts Aubrey and Diney were fabulous hosts, very friendly and eager for us to feel at home and looked after. They also went above and beyond for us in terms of travel arrangements. The place itself, after a bit of difficulty finding it (Id recommend downloading a map of the area before arrival as there is no phone signal), was in amazing condition and situated in a perfect spot by a river and close to nearby attractions such as Lowther Castle (where we enjoyed morning coffees). We did the Lowther Castle Loop walk which was walkable from the property and was a great afternoon for us eager newbies. Overall the property was so cosy, and a very special place to spend a week. We absolutely cannot wait to return. Thank you Aubrey and Diney!!
