A delightful detached cottage located in the centre of Dartmouth only a stones throw from the waterfront, restaurants and shops. The cottage, which has been tastefully furnished and decorated is well equipped and has views of the river and out to the castle and sea from the bedrooms.

We spent a lovely week in Evelyn Cottage, Dartmouth is a wonderful place to stay and the cottage was well equipped, clean, spacious and comfortable. It has recently had a walk-in shower and kitchen re-fit which isn’t shown in the photos. There were a couple of issues however, the advertised 12 steps to the cottage is only the final flight, there are actually 36 steep steps which are very slippery after rain. The parking permit wasn’t included either, we were advised to keep parking receipts for reimbursement. Bit of a nuisance having to move the car frequently but other than that, great cottage.

Some new photos needed as there has been some changes to the property also the decorating needs finishing. The garden needs a tidy. The only other thing is the amount of steps to the property needs recounting lol as there are a lot more than 12. Overall the cottage is amazing and perfectly clean, will definitely be returning.

Excellent value for money, the cottage had all we needed for a comfortable stay and the mayors avenue car park permit was an added bonus.
