The cottage is generally described as clean and well-presented. One guest mentioned towels not smelling fresh, but this seems to be an isolated comment amidst otherwise positive feedback.
The location is highly praised for its beauty, peacefulness, and proximity to walking trails and nature. It's remote and quiet, which guests found ideal for a relaxing stay.
The cottage is considered warm, cosy, and comfortable, with a special mention of the comfortable mattress and pillows. However, some guests noted low doorways and steep steps as potential discomforts for taller individuals.

To start by saying this property is absolutely gorgeous and in such an idyllic situation - we felt very lucky to be staying there, a masive thank you to the owners for letting it out. The few isues we had were to do with Cottages, which are the company letting it and the ones you have to communicate with unfortunately. We were told we had a local contact, Mr Penman, but he did inform us that he's no longer the contact to deal with and to deal directly with Cottages. So there was no local contact, whichmakes it all quite an inhuman proces! We flagged with Cottages that there were a number of basic supplies mising on arrival (washing up liquid, matches, toilet roll). Other than the communication isues we had a wonderful stay. It really is such a special place. A very comfortable bed, the shower is a little quirky but we love how off grid it is, amazing scenery, lovely log burner, stunning walks. Be prepped & you'll enjoy!

Very peaceful and secluded, cosy and stayed warm despite heavy winds and rain! Its in a beautiful valley although the views from the cottage itself dont do it justice. Its quite far from the nearest town (which we liked) but come prepared with food/shopping! We experienced particularly severe wind and rain storm which made us aware of how vulnerable you could be without supplies as there is only one road to the house, and it is steep and narrow. The only other thing was that the towels provided didnt smell that fresh - just a little off putting! And there was no coffee provided or cooking oil! Other than these small details, it truly is a beautiful, picturesque setting that was the perfect base for our exploration and really like we were in an English fairytale!
