Guests appreciate the estate's amenities, including a swimming pool and the surrounding ancient woodland. A welcome pack adds a thoughtful touch, enhancing the homely feel of the cottage.

Cleanliness

Reviews are mixed regarding cleanliness. Some guests found the cottage very clean, while others noted it could have been better maintained, with mentions of cobwebs and a damp smell. The overall impression suggests room for improvement.

Location

The location is highly praised for its beauty and tranquillity, with superb views and proximity to local attractions. The estate offers a unique experience with private lakeshore and ancient woodland, though accessibility by car is recommended.

Comfort

Comfort receives mixed feedback. While the setting is described as cosy and traditional, some guests found the beds and sofas to be less comfortable, and there were issues with hot water supply and a temperamental washer/dryer.
