Littlecroft is in a relatively level area of the town and is therefore suitable for guests of all ages and being only a five minute walk from both the train and bus stations makes it ideal for those looking for a central base from which to explore the Lakes without the need of a car.
This fully refurbished, contemporary property is continually preserved to fashionable standards and careful planning has ensured that the cottage has retained a good deal of light in every room. A clever choice of stylish furnishings coupled with elegant decor give Littlecroft a combination of rich tradition and comfortable modern living. Outside to the rear are two weatherproof stone outbuildings for the storage of bicycles and outdoor gear. Offering great character and charm, the property also benefits from a delightful fenced rear yard located between the main building and the outbuildings which is perfect for relaxing after a long day on the fells. Whether seeking a cosy, welcoming break or relaxing family holiday, the perfectly presented double bedrooms make Littlecroft an ideal choice for two couples or a couple with children. The lower ground floor snug also has a sofa bed for occasional use, but guests will need to bring their own bedding.

Cottage comfortable and cosy. Situated ideally to all amenities and public transportWould have been nice to have small amount of tea, coffee milk and sugar available as most cottages do for people who shop on arrival

Lovely cottage in an excellent location. One mark removed as the drain outside the kitchen window was blocked when we arrived. We cleared the drain but perhaps ask the cleaners to keep an eye on it going forward.
