Dinosaur Adventure (3 miles) packs in outdoor attractions and play areas, while Gressenhall Farm and Workhouse (10 miles) offers a fascinating look into Norfolk’s rural past. Norwich (12 miles), the county’s capital, is worth a full day’s itinerary for its medieval lanes and bustling markets as well as its imposing cathedral and castle. Slow things right down on Norfolk’s famous waterways by hiring a boat in Wroxham (17 miles) or swap freshwater for seawater at Wells-next-the-Sea, Blakeney and Sheringham (all within 25 miles).
