This is the second time we have stayed in Chaff Cottage when visiting Castle Acre. It is a lovely accommodation; very cosy and delightful. The bed in the master bedroom is so comfortable. The bathroom includes a great rain shower fixture overhead. The kitchen is fully equipped and ready for any meal preparation. The cottage is dog friendly and close to country side walks to the fabulous castle and priory ruins, as well as along the River Nar. My husband and I, with our two Labradors, had a wonderful time and will certainly seek to stay in Chaff Cottage again. Please do give Chaff Cottage a try. You’ll be glad you did.

Chaff cottage is VERY comfortable and well equipped. The village of Castle Acre was a revelation as we were only looking for somewhere near Swaffam. Castle acre has ancient ruins, a very friendly mini market and fish and chip shop. Also a nice pub and cafe. Our dog was very happy with the walks from the door. The on street parking was fine for us too. We would definitely return . The communication from from Alison the owner was excellent and Stace the property manager came promptly when we asked.

A lovely village and lots of walks from the door. A lovely log burner with enough logs for the first night. The bed was super comfy, the best sleep I have had for a long time. The bathroom and kitchen were very small but expected in a terraced property. Everything you needed for a pleasant stay.
