Just metres from a sandy beach and close to popular Cromer, this spacious and beautifully decorated house is a great base for families or groups of friends. After a day building sandcastles or touring the North Norfolk coast, spend the evening relaxing on the fabulous deck and patio.

You’ll feel at home straight away in this impressive house. Cooking meals is easy in the well-designed kitchen and the dining table is set sociably right next to it. This space flows through to the lounge, bright and airy thanks to glazed doors to the patio, and there’s a Smart TV for catching up with your favourite shows. The main bedroom is a super-king-size suite with a Smart TV and en-suite shower room. Two further bedrooms – a double and a twin (which can be made into a super-king-size on request) – share a large family bathroom. In terms of outside space, choose between a decked terrace with dining furniture and a patio with a table, chairs and a BBQ area for disposables. And to reach the sandy beach, simply take the footpath through the neighbour’s garden to the clifftop that leads down to the sea via a gate and steps.

Overstrand has a friendly pub, a convenience store and a cliff-top café with fabulous views, and is only 2 miles (by road or coastal path) from Cromer. Here you’ll find a beach, variety of shops, places to eat and Victorian pier, as well as the family attraction of Amazona Zoo. Head to Sheringham for a walk in Sheringham Park, 7.5 miles, or to jump on the steam train for a trip to the Georgian market town of Holt. For something a little different, hire a boat at Stalham, 15 miles, and spend a day cruising the magnificent Norfolk Broads.
