There is a wealth of things to see and do in close proximity. The stunning coastline is just 3 miles away where you will find a selection of wide sand or shingle beaches, salt and clay marshes, rolling sand dunes and picturesque quays, all waiting to be explored. It is also very close to the Norfolk Broads so make the time to explore these much celebrated waterways. For a change of pace, head into the medieval city of Norwich with its splendid Norman castle, numerous museums, galleries and theatres and a host of great places to shop, eat and drink. You can take the train from nearby Gunton Station which is within easy walking distance from Clematis Cottage. History buffs will be spoilt for choice with the Felbrigg, Blickling, Holkham and Sandringham Estates all within easy reach along with the North Norfolk Railway and lots of local museums. Wildlife lovers will enjoy walks around Sheringham Park and Pensthorpe Nature Reserve add in Amazonia Zoo, Bewilderwood, Bure Valley Railway, great golf courses, lovely walks and cycle routes and a host of other attractions you will soon see why this part of Norfolk remains so popular with visitors. Clematis Cottage is a delightful, well decorated, well equipped cottage.It has a modern extension and plenty of character in the original building.The garden is nice with plenty of room for the dog to run around.There are a couple of great pubs nearby, one serving excellent tapas dishes.The cottage is well placed for visiting the Coast, the Broads and the City of Norwich.We will come and stay there again.

Brilliant location with access to trains.Lovely cottage, very comfortable, with all amenities to hand.Lovely beach at Mundesley to visit & walk along.All in all, a very lovely experience & would love to visit in the summer

Wow this cottage was absolutely stunning inside and out, it was so warm and cosy and was most definitely luxury accommodation, had the owners on whatsapp if needed and they also put a christmas tree up for our two nights break a week early than they normally would , we was all blown away by everything, there was some lovely walks both left and right out of the cottage and we had Sunday lunch in the village pub, the beds was so comfy and we had everything we needed, was welcomed to a huge vase of beautiful fresh lillies and a bottle of prosecco , would most definitely go back, one word just stunning 😍
