Perfect for couples, the annex offers all the home comforts needed for a peaceful getaway at any time of year. On arrival at the annex, step inside to a compact but well-equipped open-plan living space, home to a kitchen where you can rustle up a hearty breakfast ahead of a busy day out. Here, you will also find a dining area so you can plan your adventures over dinner, and a sitting area to relax and unwind in to watch TV on your return. Moving through the property, a sleek shower room serves you, home to a walk-in shower and a toasty heated towel rail to warm your towels in the chillier months. A large built in wardrobe cupboard provides ample hanging space and additional chest of drawers for clothes and suitcase storage. Completing the interior is a bedroom hosting a plush double, perfect for getting some rest before another action-packed day. Outside, the enclosed, private lawned garden provides a lovely space for your four-legged friend to stretch their legs while you enjoy the crisp morning air. For days out while staying at Hunters Lodge, spend the day the at nearby Banham Zoo which is home an array of exotic animals and an animal-lovers paradise. Railway enthusiasts can spend an afternoon at Bressingham Steam and Gardens; here, you can jump on the outdoor steam railway which take you around acres of picture-perfect gardens and woodland. For a spot of history, venture out to Framlingham Castle a tremendous 12th century castle with a rich and diverse past of royalty and the revolt of 1173–1174. Further afield, is the charming city of Norwich, which boasts its grand and imposing Norwich Cathedral, an architectural staple in the city's scenery. The city also hosts the historic, Norwich Castle, now a museum, the castle offers a number fascinating exhibitions where you can learn about the ancient history of the area. You will not be left short for shops, pubs and restaurants in the city; enjoy a delicious meal at one of many eateries after wandering the quaint Elm Hill, a historical cobbled street which has been popular among visitors for its endearing character. The town of Long Stratton was formally made up of two smaller villages, the larger, Stratton St. Mary and the smaller Stratton St. The town rests in between the city of Norwich and the market town of Diss and is home to a handful of pubs, bars restaurants, three churches and a village hall. Nearby, Norwich hosts an array of attractions including Norwich Castle and the magnificent Norwich Cathedral.

    the cottage was wonderful, all you could ask for and more. A very comfortable stay.

    Had a fantastic week here at hunters cottage this cottage has everything you need for a relaxing stay the owners Tracey and Andrew are very welcoming they left us a lovely welcome pack home made scones bread marmalade as well as butter eggs and milk ,the amount of information they provide is second to none a huge folder full of where to go/ dog friendly pubs/ where to eat takeaways ect There was maps /books you could borrow for a day out, the bed was so comfortable as was the sofa and kitchen really well equipped, Tracey emailed and asked me the day before our arrival if we would like some Christmas decs put up which was a lovely touch as was December this made it really cozy we had a great stay

    The owners are very friendly but not intrusive and left a lovely welcome pack ,home baked bread with some scrummy chocolate brownies + other items. The Lodge was very clean and the shower room is excellent especially anyone with mobility issues. Would definitely recommend this property to family and friends .
