The village of Bacton offers lovely walks, a village shop, an excellent fish and chip shop, Chinese takeaway/restaurant, burger, pie and mash vans at the village shop car park and two cafés (one vegan cafe/restaurant/bar). Look out for events at the village hall. Additionally, there is a pub with restaurant in nearby Walcott, a shop with post office cafe and fish and chip shop. Bacton Woods is the perfect place to enjoy a picnic, and it has great walking trails. There is a good children’s playground within 2 minutes walking distance, also offering additional free parking for the property.
The traditional seaside resorts of Cromer, 11 miles, and Sheringham, 15 miles, offer fun at the seaside, or Wroxham, 13 miles, known as the capital of the Norfolk Broads National Park, where you can hire a day launch or join a cruise and watch the world drift by. Perfect for families is Bewilderwood at Horning, an outdoor adventure park. Another firm favourite is the Dinosaur Park at Lenwade, offering both outside and inside fun, including a splash park for warmer days. Avid gardeners can make a visit to The Old Vicarage Gardens at East Runton to enjoy the extensive gardens, its tearoom with tasty cakes, and the Sheringham National Trust Park. Other National Trust properties including Felbrigg and Blickling Halls, ideal for lovers of history. The Royal Cromer and Mundesley golf courses will not disappoint golfing enthusiasts.
Why not enjoy the chance to spot hundreds of grey seals and pups along the shore at Horsey beach, between December and February. We had a lovely time and really enjoyed the close proximity to the beach. Very comfortable house, nicely furnished, with new bathroom and kitchen. Enjoyed the space and roasting marshmallows over the fire after watching the waves at the beach. Thank you.

Little Garth is a great accommodation and really comfortable and well equipped. Great location to explore the North and East Coast of Norfolk. We have two dogs and it was really great for them in the walked garden and eady access and walks to the nearby beach and the woods. We also had the log burner which made the sitting lounge really cosy. You had to sign in on the apps to use the TV and the sound was not good after a few hours and needed to log back in the app to sort it. I wouldn't hesitate recommending a stay here. The communication with the owners was great and they sent a really good brochure on the house amenities.

Lovely comfortable cottage, full of charm and character. The welcome pack was delightful and the owners were easily on hand with any questions we had. There were so many lovely places to visit nearby and the beaches were outstanding, including the local beach at Bacton, only a 10 minute walk away.
