This seaside chalet is close to the beach and ideal for family holidays, relaxing weekends with friends or short breaks in the quiet and relaxing Norfolk village of Mundesley. There is plenty to do locally with excellent cycling, walking, birdwatching, fishing and golf, meaning that you will be spoilt for things to do from this chalet. Mundesley offers a wonderful sandy beach with brightly coloured beach huts, and quaint cottages, many of which are built in local flint stone.
Ground floor: Front door leading to: Lounge/diner; with Bluetooth radio, Freeveiw TV and DVD player. Kitchen: with electric cooker, dishwasher, fridge with freezer compartment, and microwave. 1 Double bedroom and 1 twin bedroom. Shower room with shower cubicle, heated towel rail and separate WC, wash hand basin.
Please note: Bed linen and towels provided. Electric blanket provided. One well-behaved small dog welcome at £20.00 per dog per week. Communal parking. The heating is electric oil filled and one convection radiator. Location: beach 700 yards, local shop a 5-minute stroll, Mundesley village centre 10-minute walk.
Siesta Mar Chalet Park
This is a well laid out site with 42 chalets, the majority of which are privately owned. The chalets are set in small groups around lawned areas and bordered by shrubs and roses with concrete paths to each chalet. No chalet is more than 20 yards from the car park; the site is also completely level making it ideal for those with walking difficulties and those slightly disabled.
There is a small Tesco Express selling all the essentials within 100 yards of the site, and a petrol station next door.
There is access to a quiet part of the beach within 700 yards or it is a 10-minute walk to the main seafront or village centre.

“We didn't realise that 35 Siesta Mar was on a chalet park until we arrived. However the chalet park is lovely - the chalets are well spaced out with lots of grass and flowers and a small area behind the chalet with a useful washing line. Whilst we were there (July, beginning of the school holidays) the park was very peaceful and quiet and seemed to mainly appeal to older couples. The chalet is small but very well organised with everything you need. There were lots of helpful touches like little labels on the the switches to tell you what they control. There was no free cupboard to store food in the kitchen, but we moved a trolley out of one of the bedrooms for the duration of our stay and it was perfect for cereals, fruit etc. There is a Tesco Express 5 minutes walk away and a Waitrose a short drive away. The chalet is perfectly situated for a peaceful seaside holiday. There are lovely local walks both by the coast and in the countryside. You can walk to the beach in about 6 mins from the chalet if you want to go down steep steps. If you take a slightly longer walk (10-15 mins) through the village you reach the main beaches, which are beautiful and not crowded. There are some stones but large areas of soft sand too. There is a lovely fish and chip shop in the village that even offers gluten free and is to be highly recommended. There are also lots of places to visit nearby too. We booked this in a hurry as soon as lockdown restrictions allowed and weren't really sure what to expect, but had a wonderful holiday and would definitely go back. Thank you for such a lovely, well maintained holiday home. A lot of thought and care has gone into looking after this chalet to a very high standard. ”
