The location benefits from the best of both worlds, with over 30 miles of excellent sandy beaches, starting at only 3 miles away as well as the famous Norfolk Broads (1 mile away) on your doorstep. Beach options vary from Sea Palling (closest at around 10 minutes drive) with an rnli patrolled sandy beach backed by sand dunes, cafés, pub and amusements to quieter beaches such as Cart Gap or Happisburgh.
Sutton Staithe is your gateway to the Norfolk Broads (1 mile away) connecting onto the River Ant which flows onto Barton Broad, How Hill and Ludham Bridge. Daily boat hire and river trips available to explore the miles of waterways. Excellent river fishing and local lake fishing is also available (seasonal and licence required) and The Norfolk Broads Museum (seasonal opening) where you can discover the history of boating and The Broads all nearby.
