We had a fabulous week at Oak View loft! It had everything we needed, was well equipped, cosy and the bed was very comfortable. We were delighted to find it had a dishwasher, which wasn’t mentioned in the itinerary. The secure garden was a really good size which wasn’t obvious from photographs and lead directly into the owner’s 10 acre garden. Our dog, Rosie, adored it and it was fantastic to be able to take her round the woods and paths for a last walk before dark and in the mornings. We even saw a deer one evening. The woods had a play house on stilts which our grandchildren would’ve loved had they been with us, as well as a trampoline. I would’ve loved to have used the decking to spot the local wildlife whilst sipping a glass of wine in the evening, but it was impractical with a young dog. We enjoyed many walks on the local beaches, at Sea Palling, Horsey, Overstrand, Winterton on Sea, Happisburgh and saw many seals in the sea and at Horsey they covered the beach. We had a very pleasant lunch at the Nelson’s Head, which welcomes dogs and serves beer from the local brewery Woodforde’s -,really good stuff! We were able to get our supplies from the Tesco at Stalham, just three miles away. Our hosts were lovely people and welcomed both us and Rosie warmly. We hope to visit again next year!
