Approached by main and then country roads, this gorgeous old Victorian semi-detached cottage, Owl Cottage, sits in a quiet corner on the edge of the village of Southrepps in Norfolk and overlooking the surrounding fields. Perfect for a family or friends sharing, this recently completely renovated cottage is within easy reach of the village centre and the beach, while enjoying the peace and privacy of a countryside location on a working farm. Enter through the conservatory, which houses furniture suitable in any weather; enjoy a cup of tea in the light and airy space or take the furniture outdoors to soak up some sun. Southrepps is five miles south of Cromer on the north Norfolk coast. With two shops and a popular pub. About three miles away is Overstrand, a cliff-top village with a large sandy beach. Cromer, just five miles from Southrepps, is famous for its Cromer crabs, a delicacy. A few miles up the coast is Sheringham, the terminus of the North Norfolk Steam Railway. In addition to the popular market towns of Holt and Aylsham, Norwich offers wildlife and birdwatching opportunities.

The house was beautifully kept and extremely clean when we arrived. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. The location is very tranquil and only a short distance from Overstrand and Mundesley beach. It also has a large garden for children to have a good play in. All in all, a great place for a family holiday.

Julie, the property manager, lives next door and was very welcoming and suggested a few places for us to go. Really lovely stay, weather was on our side! But canât fault the cottage or location for what we wanted. Lovely big garden for the dog and surrounded by fields with some great sunsets!
