The Lodge in Norwich is a well-received cottage, praised for its peacefulness, quaintness, and wildlife-rich garden. Guests enjoyed the comfortable accommodation, local walks, and the welcome pack. The traditional 'Norfolk winder' stairs and the need to drive for amenities were noted, but these did not detract significantly from the overall positive experiences.
The cottage is generally described as clean and well-presented. One review mentioned cobwebs and dead bugs due to open windows, which slightly affected the score.
The location is highly appreciated for its tranquillity and proximity to local walks and wildlife. The need to drive for shops was mentioned, but the peaceful setting was a highlight.
Comfort is well-regarded with mentions of comfy beds and a cosy atmosphere. The steep stairs and layout may pose challenges for some, affecting the score.
Facilities are generally good, with a well-equipped cottage and efficient heating. The traditional cooker and steep stairs presented a learning curve, and the lack of a gate in the garden was a concern for some.
While guests appreciated the welcome pack, there are not enough reviews discussing other thoughtful touches to accurately score this category. It should be noted that such gifts are a kind gesture and may not be guaranteed.
