The Stable in Norwich offers a quaint and quiet getaway with rustic charm and a friendly village nearby. Guests appreciate the peaceful location and the welcoming hosts. While some find the cottage cosy and good value, others suggest it could benefit from a refresh and more attention to cleanliness. The remote setting requires planning for supplies, but the tranquillity and local walks are highlights for many.
Several reviews mention a lack of thorough cleaning, with reports of cobwebs, dust, and in one case, an unclean bathroom. The need for better cleaning is a recurring theme.
The location is frequently described as quiet and remote, which is ideal for those seeking a peaceful retreat. The surrounding area is appreciated for its tranquillity and natural beauty.
Guests find the cottage cosy and quiet, contributing to a relaxing stay. However, there are comments about uncomfortable chairs and a noisy bed, suggesting room for improvement in comfort.
The facilities receive mixed reviews, with some guests satisfied and others pointing out issues such as a lack of hot water in kitchen taps, insufficient cooking trays, and poor internet connectivity.
The hosts are mentioned as kind for leaving a bottle of prosecco and milk, which some guests appreciated. However, it is noted that such gifts are a thoughtful touch but not guaranteed.

Very remote,if your OK with that.Make sure you have all you need, when we stayed they were kind enough to leave a bottle of prosecco and a pint of milk,so tea, coffee, washing up liquid, soap, dish cloth, shampoo ,shower gel.Sorry but we would have preferred essentials rather than prosecco, Internet abysmal, level of cleaning leaves a lot to be desired, cobwebs and dust on all the ledges, nails protruding from the wooden floor upstairs. We had 2 hornets in the lounge we had to plug the hole they were coming from above radiator in the lounge. All in all it sounds really bad but we coped,it,s owned by a elderly couple they have a cleaner?, sack the cleaner put your prices up a bit and employ someone that knows how to clean.I am so sorry to leave a review like this but you need to get control of your properties.
