Wow, beautiful house, generous rooms and lovely layout. Hosts were great and very amenable for sure. Kitchen was well equipped but could do with some wine glasses that aren't plastic, although no glass outside due to tiles and hot tub. Whilst dogs are welcome, the garden is not secure and they got through the fence, so we had to take them out on lead for the rest of the break. Some of the fences have some wire mesh to prevent this but not all. I absolutely appreciate the owners wanting the house left 'without any trace of dogs' but the kitchen wasn't clean, especially the floor, mop filthy so I ended up washing the mop head before I could use it, and the vacuum provided was so clogged it didn't do anything. However the owner was very happy to lend us one to clean before we left so we absolutely tried our best to meet their expectations. Overall lovely owners, stunning house and views so apart from a few things it was the perfect way to spend new years!

Had a lovely break in the cottage, which was warm, spacious and had lots of plus points such hot tub, 4 large king size bedrooms, good showers with loads of hot water, free to use EV charger (massive plus with someone with an electric car), 3 wood burners and in a rural location. The owner was very approachable when we had an issue with setting off the smoke alarm, which was our fault. Some minor issues shared with the owner, but none of them spoilt our week long break and hopefully will improve future visits. Places to visit within 30 minutes drive, but our main purpose was to spend time with family and avoid any shops !
