Park off-road and unpack with ease, enjoying the stunning views and salty air before you make yourself at home in an open-plan living area threaded with wooden roofbeams and housing a selection of sofas resting beside a welcoming open fire. From the sitting area you will be able to find an amply fitted kitchen with plenty of space for guests to cook together and a dining area with large windows allowing in seas of natural light.
Throughout the property there are three bedrooms, a spacious king-size with storage and a handy en-suite, a homely twin and a bunk bedroom, accompanied by a family bathroom. Outside there is a seating area where you can put your cooking skills to the test at the barbecue and enjoy the seaside views. Budle Bay has a fantastic sandy beach and coastal walks, so a day spent with your toes in the sand is a must, and you can enjoy walking along the coast, watersports and wild swimming, and warm up with a picnic with a view. For a selection of eateries, a deli serving essentials and local food and another wonderful beach head over to Bamburgh where you can also visit the amazing Bamburgh Castle.
Holy Island is within easy reach of the property and offers a bustling town full of independent shops, eateries and of course many well-known historic sites including Lindisfarne Priory, Lindisfarne Castle and many more. Make the perfect Northumberland getaway with a stay at Kittling Cottage.
The village’s sweeping sandy beaches and dramatic fortress - Bamburgh Castle - make Bamburgh one of Northumberland’s major visitor attractions. The castle can be seen for miles and dominates this part of the county’s coastline. Today it remains home to the family of the great Victorian industrialist Lord Armstrong, and is open to the public on a daily basis. Although overshadowed by the great castle, Bamburgh village is picturesque with neat grey stone cottages facing a manicured village green. There are excellent pubs, hotels with restaurants and a small selection of village shops. There are golf courses in Bamburgh and nearby Seahouses, and within easy reach are more wide sandy beaches, lovely fishing villages, stunning castles and coastal islands to explore along the dramatic Heritage Coast. There are numerous other attractions also a short drive away, including the famous Alnwick Castle and Gardens and the historic walled border town, Berwick-upon-Tweed. A superb base for exploring Northumberland.

Views from the cottage picture window over Budle Bay are breathtaking. In my opinion the description of this cottage on the website does not do it justice. It is clean, comfortable, well equipped, and in the perfect setting - what more could you ask for!
