Wow what can we say, the cottage was amazing. It had everything you could ever need. Stunning place for a family get together. We had an amazing week. 6 adults and 2 kids. Plenty of space and the hot tub was great. Loads of local works, and not that far into town. Less then 10 mins walk to the train station. The place was so well equipped, cooking was a breeze. Loved everything about the place and the owners clearly care. Easy to contact as well.

We had a wonderful stay at Hillside House. The decor was gorgeous throughout, creating such a warm, welcoming and relaxing atmosphere. Everything was exceptionally clean and well maintained, and the beds were incredibly comfortable, making for a great night’s sleep.The kitchen was very well equipped with everything we needed for our stay, and the hot tub was a fantastic bonus and the perfect place to unwind.The hosts were also incredibly kind and helpful- I left a birthday present behind which Kerry very kindly posted back to me. The welcome pack was amazing and very much appreciated after our long journey. We would highly recommend this property and would love to return!

We had a brilliant week. The house is stunning - as you enter, it makes you think, “wow.” It is well equipped and the welcome pack was one of the best we’ve ever had. Every room is lovely and the views of surrounding fields is nice. In the field opposite the kitchen, we saw hares everyday. We explored the local area everyday. We loved how close to Scotland you are and highly recommend a visit to North Berwick. We fed seals at Eyemouth, did a boat trip to see puffins from North Berwick and visited Bamburgh castle. The beaches are lovely- our favourites were Cocklawburn, Bamburgh, Low Newton by the sea and Coldingham.Would highly recommend.
