Just a short drive to Embleton Bay, a vast stretch of golden sand backed by dunes, and the famous Bamburgh Beach, overlooked by its iconic castle. Beadnell Bay and Alnmouth Beach are also nearby, offering fantastic walks and stunning sea views. Newton by the sea is 5 miles with a National Trust beach and fabulous Micro Brewery. For history lovers, Alnwick Castle and Gardens are a must-visit, as well as the charming fishing villages of Craster, Seahouses, and Warkworth. Craster was a favourite of “Vera” often spotted in an episode, famous for the “kippers” and the walk along the cliff top to Dunstanborough Castle.
