Sea Breeze is only 200 yards from the glorious golden sandy beach of Beadnell Bay. This is a popular destination for water-sports enthusiasts and activities include sailing, kite surfing, sea kayaking and scuba diving. The welcoming village of Beadnell offers local facilities with two family friendly pubs serving good food and a local village shop all less than a mile from Sea Breeze. Two miles up the coastline is the traditional fishing port of Seahouses, where boat trips to the nearby Farne Islands can be taken. A further 3 miles up the coastline is the picturesque village of Bamburgh, which lies snuggled in the shadow of its majestic fortress and commands the power and presence of the seasoned television set it regularly becomes. Holy Island – the birthplace of Christianity and site of Lindisfarne Castle – can be seen from the unspoilt golden, sandy beach. Just a few miles inland is the bustling market town of Alnwick, with its own dramatic castle (film location for Harry Potter’s Hogwarts Academy!). What a delightful little house this is - so cosy ,clean, comfortable and well equipped. It's just a short walk to the lovely beach, some good eating places and a great base to explore the Northumberland coast, villages and towns.
