The location is highly praised for its stunning setting, tranquillity, and proximity to local attractions and walks. It's described as peaceful and perfect for exploring Northumberland, contributing to a high score.
Comfort is a highlight, with numerous mentions of the cosy atmosphere and particularly the comfortable beds. However, some guests noted the property could be cold, and the bathroom facilities were considered inadequate for larger groups.
Facilities are generally well-received, especially the well-equipped kitchen and the inclusion of items for children. Criticisms include an outdated cooker and bathroom, and the need for better heating, which affects the score.
The property's thoughtful gestures, such as fresh flowers and a welcome cake, are appreciated, although it's politely noted that such gifts are a delightful surprise and not guaranteed for every stay.
