Our third cottage this year and they keep getting better. We arrived on the back of a lorry ! Mac was brilliant, he has all the kit, diagnosed the problem. We found garage not 5 miles away, job fixed. Cottage was great, had a bit of a worry as had read review of bad bed, don't know where that came from, the only problem we found with the bed was not wanting to get out of it!!Fantastic cottage in great area.

Turning into the gateway, first impressions were poor. With the front of the cottage covered in weeds, the area cluttered with vehicles and a well in the middle, made manouvering even a small car into the allocated parking spot difficult. Walking into the cottage the kitchen and dinning area was more than adequate and well kitted out. Going into the bedroom through a sliding door which came off its runners and didn't close properly, the gap between the bed and a cupboard was that small, you had to walk sideways one leg at a time, however there was plenty of storage space for clothes etc. The bed was very uncomfortable with springs sticking up. It needs a new mattress. The sitting area was small but comfortable enough for two people, it had a large picture window with slidding door, but unfortunatley looked out onto a 5 foot fence and a parked motorhome. None of which were on the photographs in your online catologue. Coming in from a wet walk with tempretures down to 7 we found no heating on, the heating is controlled by the owners app on his phone, he did come in however to rectify it for the rest of the week. Would we recomend NO. Would we stay there again NO. We recommend that cottages.com revisit the cottage and take fresh photographs.
