Waggy Tails is a welcoming, pet-friendly property located in the heart of the traditional fishing village of Seahouses. With two separate living rooms, both situated on the ground floor, this semi-detached property is deceptively spacious. The cosy sitting room leads to the kitchen, where on arrival, guests will find complementary teas and coffee, and also giving direct access to a fully enclosed garden. The living room leads to the main dining area where sliding patio doors enhances its bright and airy ambience. Both bedrooms are on the first floor along with the bathroom and convenient separate toilet.
The main street of Seahouses is within easy walking distance where there is a small supermarket and a range of other local shops along with several places to eat. The golf course is on the links close by and horse riding can be arranged less than a mile inland. A gentle stroll brings you to the harbour where boat trips to the Farne Islands, famous for its puffins and seal colony, are a popular visitor attraction.
Two miles south is the beautiful golden sands of Beadnell Bay, very popular with water sports enthusiasts, whilst 3 miles up the coastline is the picture perfect village of Bamburgh, and the dramatic castle is well worth a visit. A few miles inland is the historic market town of Alnwick where there are a wide array of amenities available.
Waggy Tails is a perfect base from which to explore this beautiful 20-mile stretch of Heritage coastline recognised as an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Beach ½ mile. Shop, pub and restaurant 200 yards.

Top Tip: Eateries and restaurants can get booked very quickly so book in advance. Elan Pizzeria is a favourite but also do take away - a great first night bite.
Most supermarkets deliver to Waggy Tails -if you want to schedule a delivery - it saves a lot of hassle heading back out.
There is a security deposit of £100 to be paid to the owner 1 week prior to arrival.

Waggy Tails provided everything we needed for a relaxing holiday. The ground floor is extremely spacious with 2 bedrooms and a bathroom and toilet upstairs.The kitchen/diner was a good size providing plenty of room for a dog crate with access straight out into a secure garden. The downstairs shower and cloakroom were an added bonus.The house remained warm and cosy despite the freezing weather and storms we encountered.

On arrival we were happy, but then on looking around what was said to be there wasn't. The bathrooms weren't clean and no hot water upstairs so we had to use the downstairs bathroom all the time.The utensils and pans were disgusting. I had to clean everything before use.The location cannot be faulted, it's close to everything you need. Shops, pubs and eateries.We enjoyed a few walks to Bamburgh a good location if you enjoy walking.If it was clean and everything that was mentioned was there I'd happily have scored it 5/5 unfortunately due to the cleanliness and items missing I can't.
