Guests praise the tranquil location, wildlife, and well-equipped kitchen, as well as the hot tub and outdoor space. The property is generally clean and comfortable, with responsive owners who address issues promptly. Some minor maintenance and cleanliness concerns were noted, and a welcome pack or guide would enhance the experience. Overall, guests enjoyed their stays and would return.

Most guests found the lodge clean and fresh, especially bedding and towels. However, several reviews mention areas needing deeper cleaning, such as under sofas, bathrooms, and the dishwasher. The owner and housekeeper respond quickly to concerns.

The lodge is highly praised for its quiet, scenic woodland setting with lovely walks and wildlife. Guests appreciate the peaceful atmosphere and proximity to nature, though some note limited local amenities.

Really good property, lots of interesting places to visit within an hour. Lovely surrou.ndings and the hot tub was a bonus. A welcome pack with e.g cooker and heating instructions and other useful information including the wifi code, details of places to eat and drink etc would be helpful.

Leafy Run is lovely! It's surrounded by beautiful woodland with deer and red squirrels and many varieties of wild birds. It has everything you need, the beds are very comfortable and the bathrooms are very good. The hot tub is well maintained. Only one criticism, for 8 people the fridge is not big enough! Will definitely be visiting again!
