Lying in the wondrous county of Northumberland, just outside the borders of the luscious Northumberland National Park, is the village of Otterburn. It is home to a village shop and a pub, as well as some other small businesses, and is named after Otter Burn which runs through the village, after splitting off from the River Rede. Expect to enjoy outdoor adventures in this area, with many popular cycling routes here, and access to Hadrian's Wall, the Kielder Forest and Waters, as well as nearby Bellingham.

The picture in the living room is falling down also and the key safe I struggled for ages to get this out . The door was also difficult to open and close and also the same with the windows .

Cleaning guys said it was due for renewal. I had booked specifically because I like having a hor tub. What we got was a warm bath. Not good enough. We enjoyed our stay, but this was a detraction. Everything else fine but when billed as with hot tub and you find it is not as it should be it makes you question things

Yes, it has 3 bedrooms, 2 doubles and two singles, BUT the rest of the lodge is very small. No en-suite, which is surprising for a 6 berth lodge. Just one small-ish bathroom. The settees (2) are soooo uncomfortable we took the pillows off the beds and sat on them. If you like a bit of privacy for your hot-tube, forget it. This one does not provide it at all. Next lodge car parking is 6ft away from the tub. No screening at all. Kitchen. Why don't they show the power rating of the micro-wave??? And more worrying, if you have never used an induction hob you will never figure out how to work it :(
