Staithes, Whitby, and Runswick Bay are all within easy reach, offering stunning beaches and quaint coastal charm.

We stayed for a week in May, lacked a frying pan and fish slice, had problem with toaster but was replaced in less than 24hrs, hosts are very friendly and helped when they could, lovely quiet cottage and cosy. Ideal location for us to go visiting nature reserves, Whitby, Saltburn, Scarborough, a few pubs near by if you want. Petrol station with small shop near by, ASDA and Aldi about 15mins away. Cosy under floor heating if required, great WIFI. Just a pain cooking a full English in a wok😂😉👍 but we coped. We’d definitely visit again.
