We had a lovely time. House is very well situated and we had lots of lovely walks down the beach. The house is very quirky with themed rooms. We liked it albeit not our personal taste. Owners had left books, games and suggested places to visit.Thoroughly recommend the sawmill cafe near wast water. Lovely food and location.Also had a nice tripe to Whitehaven, when a tall ship was in port. Had Sunday lunch in the Vagabond pub. Very nice

We loved our stay at St Bees Knees. What an interesting and lovely holiday home. The music artist theming of the property, especially the bedrooms, was appreciated by all. The space easily accommodated 8 adults and a dog, two of the four bedrooms are enormous. The amenities were top notch with well stocked and high quality appliances in the kitchen including ninja air fryer and hot tap. The washing machine was welcomed and the glorious weather meant we could dry it outside on the line in the garden. Lots of outside space enclosed sun trap back yard plus enclosed garden with seating. We all slept really well as the mattresses were so comfy so much so they were a topic of conversation. We were able to park two cars easily. One out front and one in front of the garage. The location was superb. The men played golf around western Cumbria and the girls spent time by the beach which the property is right by. Amazing village location. We ate in the beach cafe, The Seacote and The Manor and walked along the beach and round the village everyday. Highly recommend this property and we will return. Thank you.
