Boasting spacious living areas, a conservatory and a diverse garden, this dog-friendly property offers easy access to the Lake District National Park and is perfect for active groups keen to explore the immediate area’s walking trails and bustling market towns.
The two-storey barn is set down a quiet country lane 1 mile from the quaint village of Warcop and is close to the A66 – the main route between Penrith and Darlington. The barn offers plenty of space for guests on two and four paws, its large bright rooms glowing in natural light from multiple angles thanks to expansive windows and doors. The inviting lounge has comfortable seating and a wood burner, while the neighbouring kitchen/diner is a unique social space. The bright conservatory just beyond offers panoramic views of the countryside. The ground floor also has a handy utility room and a stylish en-suite twin bedroom. The second floor features a second lounge, and there are three bedrooms nearby – a super-king-size, a king-size and a double – all with high ceilings and a sense of space. A family bathroom completes the second floor. The spacious garden features a patio area, a lawned area and a decked area with seating. The nearby garage offers a place for play, storage and housework.
Active guests will be spoilt for things to do given that the Yorkshire Dales National Park and the North Pennines National Landscape are within 5 miles of the barn. There are miles of paths and trails around the village of Warcop (1 mile), while the bustling market towns of Kirkby Stephen and Appleby-in-Westmorland are within 5.5 miles. The Lake District National Park is within 19 miles.
