Also within the town, you will find a superb selection of specialist shops, including the award-winning Byrnes Wine Shop offering something for all tastes. If you are interesting in walking, cycling, or golfing, the Ribble Valley is a place that is infused with history and rich heritage, and is littered with a plethora of walking routes to enjoy, such as Chipping to Parlick Pike circular, taking you from the village to explore some rugged terrain in the areas around Fair Snape Fell and Parlick Pike. Chipping is a small village resting 10 miles away from Clitheroe, set at the heart of the Ribble Valley. Within the village you will find a church, two pubs, a village shop and post office.
