We had a lovely week at The Barn - it's so comfortable and well equipped, with beautiful views and plenty of space for 8 adults and 2 dogs.The barn conversion is really impressive and well thought out and Sarah, Richard and Jo were very welcoming and helpful. It was great having the EV charger on site and we appreciated the welcome pack.

Finding a reasonably priced holiday property with four double bedrooms, all with en-suite facilities, an additional upstairs bathroom, and another downstairs bathroom is no easy task. Add to that a beautifully restored barn conversion, lovingly created by a father-and-daughter team, set within breathtaking countryside, and you really have found something special.Before arriving, I read a review saying you wouldn’t need to bring anything with you — and that proved completely true. There was a lovely welcome basket waiting for us, plenty of games and jigsaws, and every cooking utensil imaginable, including a few we didn’t even realise we needed! The main TV comes with an Amazon Fire Stick, making it easy to access all your streaming services, and the Wi-Fi was excellent throughout the property.As an electric car driver, having the charger right outside the front door was ideal, and charging costs were comparable to charging at home.We also had the pleasure of meeting Sarah and her dad Richard — the builders behind the barn conversion. They were wonderfully welcoming, accommodating, and about as Yorkshire as you could hope to meet.If you’re reading this and still undecided, stop wasting time and book the barn — you genuinely won’t be disappointed.
