Enjoying spectacular countryside views, this detached holiday cottage is furnished and equipped to a very high standard and set within the 7-acre grounds of Garden Farm (no longer working), in a quiet and peaceful location on the edge of Ilam Hall Country Park. The ground floor comprises of a living room, spacious kitchen and a twin bedroom with an en-suite, and the first floor has a double bedroom and a bathroom. Excellent walking can be enjoyed from the door as well as cycling. The beautiful Dovedale and Manifold valleys lie just a mile away. Tissington and High Peak Trails nearby. Ashbourne 5 miles. Carsington Water 9 miles. Alton Towers 8 miles. Shops 5 miles, pub 1 mile.

A very good place to stay for exploring the Derbyshire/Staffordshire area of the Peak District. The cottage is comfortable and well equipped and was very welcoming. Access to enclosed fields was very much appreciated by my dog. I would happily recommend this as a place to stay. The slight drawback is that access to shops or village pub does require transport or a good walk!

Brilliant cottage. Couldn't ask for anything better. So well equipped even to grab rails in Bath and shower so anyone frail or with reduced mobility had a safety handle to hold onto. Owners were very helpful without being interfering. Highly recommend

Fabulous cottage lots of space, beautiful views, all amenities and wonderful hosts. Nice little touches too with movement sensor lights. Great value for money. Great base for walks and within driving distance to essential shops/petrol stations places to eat/dine out. Would definitely stay again.
