Guests appreciate the easy access to local walks, pubs, and shops, as well as the peaceful setting and charming village atmosphere. The cottage is well-equipped and ideal for dog owners, with a sunny garden and plenty of outdoor space. While some guests noted areas for improvement in cleanliness and maintenance, the overall experience is positive, making it a popular choice for a relaxing countryside break.

Several guests found the cottage clean and comfortable, but a few mentioned issues such as an unclean cooker, shower, and kitchen cupboards. Overall, cleanliness is generally acceptable but could benefit from more attention to detail.

The only doubts that we had with the cottage were that the stairs are narrow and my wife had some minor mobility problems with them. We are not disabled just not able to run up and down stairs as we did in the past. We did some of the local walks from the cottage which we not very long, but, went up and down a lot. The village is well served with eats and drinks premises and the little shop is well stocked for everyday needs

Perfect for a reasonably priced activity weekend in the Peak District. There's good walking to be had in the area and the cottage is ideally situated for relatively easy access to the Monsal Trail and High Peak Trail - both quite achievable as a circular ride in an afternoon. Youlgreave itself has some great little sandwich and tea shops. Best for: affordable accommodation, good walking/cycling base. Avoid if: you're pretentious, want nightlife and rural areas scare you.

Been to youlgreave multiple times For me this was the best cottage I’ve stayed in So spacious, clean, great views, wood burner, large out door area for my spaniel, by far best value for money Highly recommended Would stay again most likely later in the year 😁
