An idyllic stone cottage in Bakewell, one of the many delightful market towns in the Derbyshire Dales. Close to the River Wye, the dog-friendly cottage is blessed with high ceilings, original beams and oak flooring, spacious living areas and a courtyard garden. The perfect size for small families or a group of friends on a rural getaway, it is an ideal base for walkers and history and nature lovers, with attractions including the Monsal Trail, Haddon Hall and Chatsworth House all within 5 miles.

The single-storey cottage is located near the centre of Bakewell and is surrounded by a blend of traditional stone buildings that line the town's winding streets. The interior glows in natural light pouring in from all angles onto contemporary soft furnishings. The high ceiling, topped with exposed beams, will certainly get necks craning in the open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner. This area is dominated by a large fireplace, home to a wood burner that warms the comfortable seating surrounding it. The dining area and kitchen are just beyond, the latter set behind an intriguing wooden beam. The cottage's two bedrooms - a double and a twin - are just a few pawprints away from the lounge.
