Good cottage for two people. Close to village with a few pubs and shop. Well placed for various sights and activities with walks available from the cottage along local rivers.

Great place to stay if you want peace and quiet.The neighbours were sheep and cows and a few more wildlife around the area.Great base for visiting all local towns and lots of Great walks.Would definitely go back.

This house is all about location and privacy. You are in your own little world here but can easily walk in to Youlgrave village for eateries and the village store. It is a short drive to Bakewell but if you are visiting in school hols go early and then retreat back to the peace of Mawstone Mine Cottage. Our dog loved it but if your dog is an avid explorer and known for escaping you will need to consider a tether. We loved it here!
