We had an excellent stay at Willoways with our dog. The house was great, really comfortable, quiet, clean and cosy with lots of thoughtful and useful things left for us: everything you need to light the fire, an amazing welcome pack with tea, coffee, biscuits, juice, dishwasher tablets, washing up liquid, a tea towel.The path to the house is narrow, but I managed to get my Dacia Duster down there and reverse park into the driveway.You can walk to town in less than five minutes down a hill past the old church. There's a great information centre- look out for posters on the notice boards; we found a talk on golden eagles at the local wildlife club while we were there. Amazing bakeries! Cafes close around 3 or 4pm.

A lovely clean, comfortable and well equipped cottage in the heart of Bakewell. It's a bit of a tight squeeze getting in the lane, but hold your nerve as it's worth it to get to this place

We had a beautiful Christmas stay at Willoways. Bakewell is lovely place to visit at any time of year and close to many other places of interest. Willoways cottage has everything you could need for a perfect break and I cooked our Christmas lunch with ease in the well appointed kitchen. The solid fuel fire in the lounge was a lovely treat too especially for snuggling up for a post lunch snooze. There are beautiful views from the upstairs windows across the wooded hills of the delightful Peak District. We would definitely recommend Willoways and if we return to the Peak District we will definitely check for availability at this location.
