Buxton’s town centre has a variety of restaurants serving different cuisines, independent shops and cafés plus it is home to Buxton’s Opera House with shows on weekly, and the Pavillion Gardens which is lovely to walk around in the afternoon. Further afield you can visit Castleton and check out the caverns by boat, explore other towns such as Ashbourne, Bakewell and Matlock, visit Chatsworth House and soak in some history or take a stroll on the nearest well known route, the High Peak trail which has pubs and ice cream stops en route.

Just about perfect, great location with plenty of amenities.Very clean and well appointed.Excellent for dog owners, the garden is well sized and completely secure even for our micro dog who usually can find a gap somewhere!Highly recommended

Wonderful house with little extras like the alexa and wi games making it all more fun. Very comfortable and warm. Lovely setting right next to a field of sheep.... Local shops near by for food and lots of places to visit and eat at in Buxton. Great base to explore the area. Would definitely book again as there is so much more we wanted to do
